if he doesn't look me in the eyes, does that mean he is lying?

the guy I am seeing doesn’t look me in the eye all of the time when we are talking. Sometimes he does, mostly when he is being flirtacious and then other times when we are talking or are up close and kissing or talking he will close his eyes or look away. Does that mean that he is lying to me, shy, something else?

He may not be lying, not all people look away when they lie. Some people squirm, fidget, blink a lot, etc. It could be that he’s insecure or shy. Try to get him to feel comfortable by telling him that you love his eyes, that when he looks at you he gives you chills. Say something that will make him feel that you appreciate his looks. If this doesn’t work you can always make a joke about it by also looking away while telling him something, maybe he will see how annoying or agitating it can be and will try to cut down on his habit.
