I told my boyfriend I cheated, what should I do now?

I have been with my boyfriend for a little over a year. Most of that time has been a long distance relationship with me being in school on the east coast and him being on the west. While away I ended up cheating on him once. That night I tried to call him and tell him what I did but there was no answer. It has been about 4 months since it happened.( It was the only time that it did). I told him what happened not too long ago. He took it well and even told me that he knew. He said he was upset for a while but forgives me. I was a mess and crying. He ended up holding me all night and comforting me by telling me that he loved me and its ok. The next day he acted like everything was ok. Part of me is glad that he knew and has already gotten over it but the other part of me wishes he would just yell at me so I get what I deserve. What should I do?

I wouldnt stress out over it. if he was accepting then leave it as that. he probably didnt yell at you because you were already upset. its in the past, if I were you, I would leave it that way (: good luck
