I really really want my lip pierced, pros and cons help?

ok. so im 14 and really really want my lip pierced. btut OF COURSE my parentals wont let me. so I turn 15 in Jan. and im trying to come up with a list of pros and cons about getting my lip pierced. btw im in chicago know how much it would cost? and do would I even look right with it?

cons.

  1. your parents dont want it and you cant get it done at your age without parental consent
  2. your age. a school with a dress code wont allow the piercing and neither will most jobs as they consider them unattractive and unprofesional
  3. other cons are the risk of infection

a lip piercing costs on average $50 you shouldnt pay any less than $30 and anymore than $60 for it if you pay less than $30 that suggests the place in unprofesional

Call your local tattoo/piercing shop and ask. I just called Jade Dragon Tattoo and Exotic Body Piercing Studio and the guy said 40$ with jewlery included :)

Pros: -You get what you want. -Youll like it for a while. -Youll lool cute

Cons: -You might stop liking it. -Serious health issues like : Allergic reactions if your allergic to the metal Loads of bleeding Keloids(sp) Damage to your lip nerves Dental damage Bacterial infection

There’s no use getting it if your parents won’t let you. You’re either going to have to hide it, which becomes a pain in the butt after a while, or show them and they’ll make you take it out. So you’re just wasting time and money. You should just wait until they let you. =]
