I pierced my lip!

um I pierced my lip right,but now it is a little swollen and when I take the ring out the hole is black and I want to know if that is normal or just infected?

Well like the others said, when did you pierce it? If you just did it, like almost all piercings, they bleed, it could be dried blood.

When Did You pierce it? If you Just pierced it Yerr not Supposed to take it out. Im not Sure about the Black hole, Did you pierce it yerself or professionally?

This is a heath question but any who, You could be infected so maybe you should go to the doctor just to be sure. Yours truly, Demika Ray

First of all stop taking it in and out. By doing that you are pushing bacteria and germs in and out of the piercing. The black can be a sign of infection or an allergy to the metal. Next go strait to a professional piercer to get it checked out. I advise you to say you got it done at an out of state shop bc otherwise the piercer will give you the “talk” if you say you did it yourself. They will be able to help you better than anyone.

its not supposed to be black and most of time lip piercings dont bleed
