Scene is predominantly a phase that can last anywhere from the 11-27 year old range, and is rarely picked up by anyone older. Why? Because as you mature, you begin to see these things as tacky and pointless. A lot of people(I must include myself) perceive the scene “culture” as a waste of time. If you want to be a living, breathing posterchild for this generations obsession with popular products advertised by biased media, I highly recommend this lifestyle for you. Otherwise, I’d just work on finding your own identity. Some new hobbies: learn an instrument, get into games, fix up cars, volunteer, meet new friends. Projecting a certain appearance with guidelines is cheating yourself out of the whole experience of finding yourself and friends who genuinely want to be around you.

Ok wear neon clothes skinnies is a must if you want maek them colorful like red yellow green and yes grapchic tees are good and your favorite band tees are good too stores you can buy em at are stitches, urban planet, hot topic stuff like that you can get accessories like hello kitty and stuff from claires. Ugly dolls are hot too. make up has to be dark but you can blend some bright neon eyeshadow in. big nerd glasses are kewl too. try to use a lot of abrieveasions like ttyl lol lmao rofl ttfn stuff like tha even make your own up. listen to music a lot. hope this helps.

Hun, if you want me to be completely honest, you need to find these things out for yourself. ‘Scene’ (or any other fashion for that matter) don’t really have a store of their own. Go shopping, and look around. Look at what other people are wearing and buy things that make YOU feel comfortable.

Remember that trying to be someone that you are not isn’t a good thing, and you’ll be left feeling self-concious.

I find that a great way to make your wardrobe unique is to personalize your clothing, or buy tees and accessories that say something about you. If you really love robots, for example, you can make bracelets with a bead robot on it using canvas and thread.

Be creative, and you’ll be happy. :]

Another good thing to remember is that fashion is about knowing what to buy. If you know where to look, cute things can be found EVERYWHERE. (even walmart.)

Tbh you can’t really “become” scene… If it fits you so well, then you shouldn’t have to try and “be” scene at all. It’ll just happen if you’re naturally into that sort of thing. Try to be original, don’t just go copying other people’s fashion, that’s not very unique or inspiring and you’ll look like a clone. Play around with your own hair styles and make up - let the fashion and other people influence you but don’t copy them directly. Just do what you want.

Answer #12

while I know that you asked this question 6 months ago but if you need some help heres what I got , first off I’ve been into the style for 3 years now and im trying to drop it and switch to more girly because im going to boarding school next year but I bought most of my “scene” clothes from ( hottopic, urban planet, claires, garage, spencers,) also dye your hair funky colors and wear lots of makeup and colorful bracelets. but most importantly put your own style into it and try to be creative. for example my signature thing was to wear tutus and bead necklaces. good luck and remember to be yourself. oh and wear band tees and graphic tees.

Answer #13

im labeled scene(on my good days where im not all bloated and feeling blah of course). and I shop at hottopic, pacsun, wetseal, you can shop anywhere really, you just gotta pick and outfit that feels right if you really wanna know what to wear (thats well known). where neon. lots of bracelets. bows. a lot of bright makeup.get your hair cut a certain way dye it. but thats not necesary. I mean no one will think your ‘so scene’ if you dont do that im ujust trying to help.

Answer #14

All of you are retards.

She doesn’t care what you think about being Scene. If she wants to be Scene, what the hell is wrong with that?

There isn’t any originality left, “being yourself” could fall right into another label. If she’s going to be labeled anyways, why can’t she be what she wants?

Wear whatever you want, try skinny jeans and graphic tees; Change it up, and combine your outfits with other styles. Scene kids are into fashion, be fashionable, be unique. Shop wherever you want.

You can also check out Scene outfits on Polyvore for ideas.

Some rad websites:

www.Fredflare.com www.sickforcute.com www.wetseal.com www.charlotterusse.com

Hottopic is okay too, but don’t go overboard there, it’s a little passé sometimes.

Sorry I can’t be of much help after everyone got all crabby.
