Lied to my friend and she won't forgive me

I have this friend who I lyed to and made someone up on the internet as her boyfriend.. I lied to her.. we went to the same school and we were bff’s. she wont forgive me.. what should I do? I have said sorry a thousand times.

Well why did you do that? and what freind would do something like that? have you explained things to her? or just said youre sorry?

Well I dont think this is simply about lying, you hurt, humiliated, embarassed her as well as betrayed her trust… And quite frankly I dont see why (which is probably her view on the subject).

I would reflect on the reasons why you did this (deeper than it was just funny at the time…) and perhaps a litle self awareness and true remorse may convince her that you truly are sorry and you will never do it again.
