How can I tell my dad to get help?

I’m 14 years old My dad is not really coping with my mums death, which happend 4 years ago. he takes his anger out on me and hits me I know he loves me, but he says he hates me. I let him hit me but I tend to get real angry about it and break stuff. I really hate him at the moment and I dont really think I will forgive, because its been 4 years, I dont wanna wait anymore. he could change but he just needs a little help if he changes id be happier and wouldnt feel like crap everyday I woke up and hated my life at home when I was around him. how can I tell him to get some help wihtout him getting angry at me..?

Im also 14 years old. I dont know how this feels but…I can feel your pain. (I was doing my maths how when I found your question) ok your dad gets angry right? Tell him how you feel if you cant cope with the harsh reality of the situation you can look for a nearby help mabye in your neighborhood. Ask your friends for advice tell them your story. Your friends can give you back up. Ask any grownups for help. This story is screaming harsh reality and I think a grownup could really help/

Tell him he has to stop this, tell him its child abuse and that if he doesn’t stop you will call the police.
