I have a rash and it hurts!

it is on my neck and spreading to my face… I thought it was cause I am allergic to my necklace!!! what should I do???/ do you know of any good creams for it, it’s very dry???

Tell your parents you may need to go to the doctor since you aren’t 100% sure what it’s from and certain allergic reactions can harm you. If going to a doctor isn’t an option, a good hydrocortisone 2% cream which you can get anywhere that has a pharmacy aisle might help clear it up. If it is an allergic reaction I would also take a benedryl too.

I have very sensitive skin, and I get an awfui rash to any jewelry that isn’t either gold, silver, or surgical steel. So… here, I’ll try to relate. :-)

First of all, remove the necklace and vow not to EVER wear it again!! Two - soak the sore, tender skin with a hot face cloth. Wash it with a good moisturizing, hypo-allergenic soap. Three - Keep it dry and warm. Do NOT touch, poke, or itch the rash. Four - Add a good moisturizing cream, something hypo-allergenic no dyes or fragrances, something with added vitamin E and aloe vera is always good for the skin. Hydrocortisone cream is good, but is VERY dangerous because in reality it thins out the skin and causes it to be even more sensitive. So if you choose to use it (it does help immediately) apply it very sparingly and don’t reapply often!! Five - Drink lots of water and eat a balanced diet.

It should begin to look better in a week… if it doesn’t, see a doctor and have him give his opinion & diagnosis. :-)

All the best!!
