I am not sure how much the doggie diapers are, but I know my boxer would never leave them on.

You need a Boxers size wire crate for her to stay in while you are at work. If your female is like mine and that would be that she is an escape artist. If this is the case she will tear down the doggie gate and maybe even chew the bottom on a door when she is in high. estrogen state. I would also guess this is her first heat since it seems like you have been taken by surprise. Do no delay get a good wire crate that you can put a washable blanket or doggie bed and some of her favorite chew toys and put her in it. Even when you are at home. This will help her get use to being in it while you are away. It is only 3 weeks.

Do not let her outside by herself and do not underestimate the abilities of male suitors. Do not leave her in areas she has not been kept in before, she will only become upset and maybe chew something she shouldn’t.

Remember 21 days and to be safe watch her all the way through. 7 days coming in, 7 days in, 7 days going out (but can still hook up with a male and have puppies)

Good luck, you will feel worst about putting her up than she will and she will forget it when it is over with.

Get her spayed!

My goodness. It will stop her from going into heat, make her less likely to wander looking for a male, and decrease her chances of uterine cancer.

Ditto and double ditto to Tamcat…I’m glad to know you’re keeping her in…and I’m estactic, that you never once mentioned that she’d been accidently bred (phew)…so once out of heat, take her in and get her spayed…really, it’s better for her…and a total relief for the owner…

Answer #4

You need to either get a cage and put it inside so she doesn’t blead all over your house or possibly confine her to one room that maybe it doesn’t matter if blood get on the floor.

Answer #5

I would crate her or put a baby gate up in a easy to clean room while you are away. If she won’t keep the diaper on and you don’t plan on breeding her, get her spayed, problem solved.

Answer #6

put her in a crate then after the heat is over I suggest you get her spayed

Answer #7

You really should just get her spayed.
