Is anyone on here old enough to remember real hiphop?

Black Moon released one of the most raw and hard hip hop albums of all time, Enter da stage in 1993. whenever people ask me what my favorite albums or songs are, I will usually mention this album and a couple songs from it .nobody ever seems to have heard of them and as a pure hip hop fan, its disturbing. how we went from acts like Black Moon to lil wayne, g-unit, and soulja boy is mind blowing. is anybody on here old enough to remember real hip hop or atleast listen to it even if you dont remember it?
