Does it hurt to get your nose pierced?

I want to get my nipple pierced when I turn 18 :)

Every piercing hurts to some degree depending on what it is and who it is done on, therefore no one can tell you what your experience is going to be like. Mine stung quite a bit but compared to other piercings of mine it wasn’t too bad. Also it doesn’t really matter what side it’s done on. In my opinion it looks better on the side of the part in your hair but it’s your choice.

every peircing does hurt differently. i have both side of my nose pierced and the right side hurt soo bad i had tears in my eyes, but the left side did not hurt as much, it just stung.

When i got mine done it wasn’t that bad…First of all i hate pain and wasn’t going to do it. I told the lady one more try and before i could say no again she pierced it, mine popped 3times the most tears didn’t come running down my face. My eyes just watered and it was over. I got mine on my left side and frickin love it!! All i can say if you wan’t it do it face your fears lol. good luck

You’re getting a 16 gauge needle through your nose, it’ll hurt but depending on your tolerance it could be a mild pain or intense. From my experience, My corset piercings hurt the worst, just searing pain all over. Nape - Only burns as the needle is poking through. Cartilage - Sore long after you get it. Snake bites - Didn’t feel a thing. My septum piercing didn’t hurt, but getting it stretched was a painful, I felt faint for awhile. I wouldn’t worry, nose piercing will be fast and mild.

Thanks, I don’t really find that things hurt me that much, I had my belly button pierced a couple of years ago and it never hurt :) I was just wondering because I would like to get it done and my mum fainted when she had hers done so I though I would check other people’s opinions. Thanks :)

did mine myself twice. its not too bad. just the healing process is a mothafka. the scabbing gets annoying,inside ur nose

Doesn’t at all. Beilive me. But I did it my self and I loved it LOL it did not hurt one bit to pop it through,but the last layer of skin is a little tough, but not bad at all and doing it yourself isn’t bad or dangerous if you know what your doing. My mom is a licensed professional :)

I got mine done at the end of may and any piercing is going to hurt at some point um but when i got mine pierced it barely stung for me but i have a high pain tolerance. The healing process dosent really hurt it’s numb for like the day after and maybe the day after that um and it will be swollen for like a week or 2. If it does get swollen just take advil and that should help if its really swollen ice helps too. So yea…… :):
