Hurt my toe

I was being stupid as always,my mom put an empty pizza box on top of the trash can (doesn’t fit inside),she doesn’t like breaking it down,I put the tip of my toes on the opener and slammed down a little hard,caused me pain. I didn’t think I hurt myself so much but when I looked down,one of my toes was bleeding a little bit under the nail,I sat down to check it out,I couldn’t tell if the nail would come off,I cleaned out some of the blood while there.

Right now a sore has formed under my nail and I’m afraid of how it will come out once fully healed,my mom won’t take me to the ER I know for sure,what should I do?

Note:I’m not accident prone,my friends say I’m like a daredevil,don’t ask

I think you’ll be fine. Just keep it clean. Use peroxide and a bandaid
