How to take care of a Pink Sapphire Necklace?

I searched it and found a number of ways to clean it, here are some: 1 - “Mr. Clean that’s what jewelers usually use,soak it over night ,in the morning take an old toothbrush and scrub it if you don’t have one then just use a cloth .”

2- “Washing up liquid and hot water with a toothbrush works well, but failing that, any spirit such as gin, scotch, vodka also work well trust me!”

3- “Just use toothpaste and toothbrush. Just like our teeth.Honestly. Try it.”

4- “this may sound strange but I use bathroom cleaner spray and an old toothbrush. believe it or not it brings it up a treat.”

5- “jewellers will sell cleaners. you;ll be able to clean in yourself in about 5 mins depending on how dirty the gold is.”

6- “I would try soaking them in washing up liquid over night. It’s certainly worked for me in the past.”

As for sleeping with it on, not something I would really suggest. You don’t want it to get tangled up in your hair or anything like that. I’ve had chains break in my sleep in the past. You should be able to shower with it on, but some jewelry gets a stain on it when you do that. I think you should just take it off before bed, and put it on when your all done your shower and everything.
