You need to water it when you change the soil. Also as yashica said, cut off the leaves when they turn brown/yellow.

Did you move it? If so, move it back to it’s old location. There may be too much or too little air/sunlight etc in it’s new spot.

Money trees are good to grow clippings off, so if there is a big bit of the tree that is still healthy, snip if off and replant it to grow another. If your main one dies, you will still have a bit of it growing, if it doesn’t die, then you will have two!

Watering is very essential for the better growth of money tree but do not over water even if they are brown(it will not help),if the leaves are getting brown or yellow cut them as soon as possible because these leaves will make other leaves brown also, probably if all the leaves will be green then it will start growing again.this is usually the reason why the leaves start falling off. It is also possible that the heat is too much for that tree because they need medium amount of sunlight, this could be the problem also. Notice them in 2-3 weeks, they will grow back again if you will take care of them properly. Hope I helped!!!Good luck!!!
