How to move to America ?

I really want to move to America because theres loads more stuff to do over there than there is here in England. So if you go on holiday to lets say, Florida and decide not to come back.. what would happen exactly? Thanks!

I came from dominican republic and I can go back and forth whenever I want just for $600 or $400 you have to get a passport and everything situated with your country before you can come to another trust me I know.

First you would need to apply for an immigration visa: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/immigrants_1340.html

Without a visa – say you just came over with your passport and ran off into the Everglades – you would be an undocumented alien and be unable to apply for very many jobs, other than the most menial labor.

After living as an illegal for some time in the US, you can petition to stay, but the current climate in the US is not terribly friendly to illegals.

Fun fact – as I was typing this question, a rep from US Citizenship and Immigration Services came in to ask me some questions about my French office manager and her work visa. That was really weird.

youd get deported as youll be in the country illegally

how bad is our country for it with the immigrants and you want to go to american and be 1 in their country? :S

you can a visa for 12 moon as long as you can prove to customs that you can survive with the money you have

working visa exist too… but you must have a job and a place to stay before your excepted

but im no expert on teh supject :)
