How to keep my weight up?

Okay so I guess ill be completley honest, I was anorexic a year ago, but that is becdes that point and not my question, I am a dancer and I have always been underwight and its very hard for me to keep my weight up. I got help for everything, and now its all coming kinda back I have been dropping so much weight and my parents said I will not be able to dance anymore if this keeps up cause last year I was close to dying. I try to eat, and I can’t eat right before dance or else I get bad cramps, and I keep dropping weight and iam not hungery after dance, but I have dropped almost 9 pounds in a week and a hallf I have a checkup IN 3 DAYS! and if I am like 5 pounds underwight(I am way over 5 pounds underweight now, I weighed myself last night) it will be a reapet of last year and this just CAN;T happen. I am so scared, cause I have no idean what I am going to do. pleaseee!!! help! all thanks. zoey

You won’t be able to do anything that will drastically change things in 3 days.

Best bet is to start eating more carbs. If you don’t feel too much like eating during the day then try to eat a lot a couple hours before going to bed.

It would be best to try to eat 3 good meals per day and maybe a nutritious snack before your dance sessions.

I would really suggest that you consult with your school nurse and find out what weight she would suggest that you try to attain for best health. Then do your HONEST best to achieve it.

not really 15 pounds just by eating, if your worried about the checkup thingy drink a lot of water.. only dont drink enough to make you sick… good luck!!

okay I know EXACTLY how you feel I wieghed 95lbs and everybody always bothered me about my weight but its a year and a half later and I weigh 130lbs now and I want to keep it down to 110 but its harder for me to gain weight than lose it used to be the other way around but the solution is to simply OVER-eat oh and one really way to help is right before you sleep get a bed time snack with lots of calories because when you sleep you cant lose those calories much love<3kenzie

try taking extra supplaments, go to a local nutrition shop and explain to them that you cant keep weight on and you need something to help control it. and they will give you a big container full of powder stuff that you mix in with foods or drinks. it should add enough calories, carbs and proteins to keep your weight up.
