How to I get my eyeliner to stop smearing?

Take a q-tip before putting on your eye liner & wipe it across the area you’re putting it on. Usually eye liner smears because of oil on your face, or around the eye area. Using a q-tip will remove most of the oil so the eye liner stays on longer. I have to do the same sometimes.

Get better eyeliner. What kind to you use? Alos, try aplying powder eyeshadow uder your eye as well to help stop it from smearing

Use foundation as a base before applying ANY eye makeup, even if it’s just eyeliner. Top that off with powder. Apply your eyeliner, and then dab powder over it. It’ll stay put, trust me! I’ve used that technique with 99 cent eyeliners that are famous for smudging, and this helped them stay put!

Maybe sure to apply right under your eye if you wear eyeliner on the bottom, too.

Or, if you want, go for waterproof eyeliners. CoverGirl Outlast Smoothwear eyeliner (I got it in Onyx) is really great. It doesn’t claim to be waterproof, and I wouldn’t recommend going swimming with it on, but if you want your eyeliner to stay put for everyday, you’ll be satisfied with it!

this is just an idea, dont touch your face and use liquid or waterproof eyeliner.

try liquid eyeliner, it dries hard so it wont smudge. waterproof is best, because your skin secretes oils and such. ;]
