How to get someones trust sorta trust me and sorta dont

when I Was Younger I Did Things That he said not to do like he told me not to tell anyone I had his addy and I did. and today itbeen like 3 years since me and him have known eachother I asked him to day if he Trusted me and he said. yes and no. I waslike why dont you trust me? and he was like it doesnt matter, ( I knew he sorta trusted and sorta didnt he gives that impression sumtimes) I kept asking him what reason I gave him not to trust me and he said a few but he wouldnt tell me what the reasons where :S im just wondering how can I get him to trust me more? because I trust him with my whole life like and im not even dating dis guy. When hes upset im always der for him ,even tho he doesnt tell me whats wrong :| but like a year agoo he trusted me with somthing to do with his parents and I never told a soul mayb he forgot he trusted me with it :S anyways the Question is, How can I get him to trust me more:s it like he doesnt want to open up.. and its not like im gonna go running off to others, because I wouldnt want to hurt him, I just want to be there for him and care for him, but he wont let me in :S

Trust comes in time. You have to earn it and you have to proove that you’ve changed.

Well if he doesn’t trust you it will take awhile for him to again, could be something simple that you didn’t see as private but was VERY private for him, really the best way to fix this is confront him and tell him you will never speak of anything you two say to each other to anyone else, ever. He will probably trust you from there on.
