How can I get fat off of my body for good?

I went to florida. ate normal (whatever my heart desired, without binging) and gained 10 pounds. I was already trying to lose 10 or so pounds so now I need to lose 20 or so pounds.

what should I do? my mom says my weight gaining is because I’m a vegitarian, and have nothing healthy to eat.

I didnt make the volleyball team. so im doing swimteam (starting tomrrow. 2 1/2 hours a day)

how many calories should I eat a day? how to not snack when im bored? how long will it take me to lose 25 pounds?

Hi, Oceanheat, well I need somemore information before I can rally give you a correct idea about calories you should be eating, what I need is age, height and current weight. As a vegetarian as long as your getting the right groupings of food, it’s still a healthy life stly, But I’m sure your mom is just worried about your overall health. SO don’t be too hard on her. Here’s some tips in the meanwhile. Build tyour meals around protein, like meat, beans, lentils and brown rice. Don’t overload meals with high fat cheese. Soy based beverages are calcium fortified similar to milk, incase you don’t drink milk either. They are low in fat. Have you tryp soy based foods, or bean burgers ,sausage, hot dogs, Tofu burgers or the veggie burger they make? Theres alot out there, and depending on what kind of vegetarian you are. Make sure your eating throughout the day, swimming is a great workout, drink lots of water and if you drink soda or other presweetend drinks, try and cut them out. Also cut out or choose less fried, fatty or fast foods, (cips, cakes, cookies). when you feel the urge to snack, drink a glass of ice cold water, it will fill you.

age - 15 … 16 in two months weight- (normally 120 but i gained 10 pounds… nad im noramaly NEVER this fat. but…) 130 height - 5’ 2 (and i feel like i shouldnt be able to eat like 1200 calories a day (like all ppl do when they’re losing weight, cause im so short) tell me what i should do..

That’s not true that vegetarians don’t have enough healthy foods. I’M a vegetarian!!!

If you liked hot dogs before you where a vegetarian, try smart dogs. They’re healthy, meatless, and I’ve seen some that where only 45 calories per link. They can help a lot.
