How to dodge awkward pauses when talking to the guy I like?

Well when your talking to the guy make sure you know what your goning to talk about before hand so it doesnt leave you with those akward pauses when you dont know what to say next. Also be confident because if your not theres a good chance you will have those akward moments with the guy you like. Also smile as much as you can, it usually lightens up the mood making it easier to talk.
