How to confront someone with an eating disorder?

This kinda hits a little to close to home for me. And Im scared if I confront my good friend about it I may go bad into doing that again. I’ve ignored it for awhile which I feel really bad about because I know I wasn’t being a good friend about it. I just have no idea how to relate and comfort her without feeling the same way and wanting to lose weight. At the same time I want to be supportive and there for her but then again I kind of just don’t want to deal with it at the same time. Any suggestions?

ahh well I guess first off sit her down and ask why she feels she has to do this to herself. if that dont work try some tough love and be like “look are you doing this cause you think you arent pretty, for attention, I just dont understand I dont know how to help you. but I know you are going through pain and I cant see you like this…”
