How should I ask my mom for a thong?

Aright I want to get my first thong… I am thirteen… I have heard they are comfortable and that they don’t make underwear lines… I don’t want it for sexual reasons at all I don’t have a boyfriend anyway… so how should I ask my mom?

dude I say just ask her. im 15, me and my mom went bra and underwear shopping and she just brought it up. I didnt even have to ask. but if your mom disaproves, I say let it go. she has her reasons… I’ve been in trouble for it bunches before my mom took me.

The next time you guys go bra shopping/underwear shopping just bring it up. She might think you’re a little to young but just give it a try. My mom didn’t approve of me wearing thongs but as I got older she started seeing them in the laundry more often lol :)

who said she had to know. just go out with your friends asnd get one im 13 and if I had friends to go out with or had a chance to get out the house by myself I would get one, then again I probably never go home.

Thongs are really a personal thing - some find them comfortable, others do not (I’m with the latter). Given that, just tell your mother that you heard they were really comfortable and want to see for yourself … best stick to just one for the time being, or else you may end up with a drawer full of underwear you can’t stand to wear.
