My little sister wants to start ballet and she is 10 but she fears she is too old. Is this true? She has been online and found a good ballet school but she says that you need to get a grade 1 or something and she has no clue what that is. Please give me some advice. She talks about ballet all the time and it is getting on my nerves!!! Thnx for your help.

No one is ever too old for anything, its just recommended to start younger because your body gets used to the way you are training whilst you are growing and it helps a lot more, your sister shouldnt have a problem starting now. :]
there is no reason she can't do it ...don't give up...locate a local school near you...it all depends on the teacher...usually kids start as young as 2yrs old...as soon as they can walk...go figure?
Grade one is just like a standard. It's The very beginning. Age ten is fine to start. People could start in their 40'z if they Really wanted. Let her Go for it! (:
Nope she's not too young. There's people who start learning a lot later than 10-years-old. Just get her into a beginners class and she'll be fine. :)
corse she aint!!! no one is too old..she should just go for it ..if she is so intrested then she could end up eing amazing!!!
xx
yea just go to the local dance studio or google search 'dance studios 00000' 0= your zipcode
