Answer #2

yeah, totally. average is 30-35 pounds. I gained 40. as long as you are taking good care of youself your fine. ask your doc what he/she recomends you to gain. if they are concerned trust that they will let you know.

Answer #3

Doctors now oftern recommend between 10 and 15 kgs, but that’s individual (and the doctors tend not to be pregnant women themselves)

DO remember that even if you’ve gained a bit now, that may well even itself out over time. It’s not that a pregnant woman starts gaining constantly from day one, at the same rate.

But do keep an eye on the scales, and check with your doctor (and nurse).

Even though you are put off eating by the morning sickness - you really need to eat. The baby needs all the nutrients to grow and you need the nutrients too. So remember eat well!
