My mom is getting angry at me for being a teen. Shes threatening to take most of my stuff away. I want to know some stuff about what the law says about what to give a person. What is the minimum amout of clothes a person is allowed to have by law? I want to know a lot more but I'll start with this.
Lol. Seriously, the law? Reality check, there's kids who die of starvation, who dont have clean water or a place to sleep. And you're whining about your things? As long as you're fed and clothed, she has a right to take away whatever she paid for. I dont blame your mother. If I had a brat, I'd probably take away their things too. And she's not getting mad at you for being a teen. Being a teen does not mean you can act like a brat.
no, there is no minumum amount of clothes a person can have, there is no maximum either your mum is punnishing you for things your doing if shes just angry at you for being a teenager, which probably isnt true, something is wrong with her there should any something your doing wrong or not doing that makes her punish you talk to her about it, ask HER why shes punnishing you
unfortunately for you. She has to give you only one set of clothes 1 pair of undies 1 shirt 1 pair of socks1 pair of pants and shoes as long as they get washed that's all she has to give you..and she can feed you what ever food she wants..as far as tv phones dvds games exc. no law says you are entitled to any of that stuff..
The minimum she can legally give you is 1 set of weather appropriate clothing, protection from the elements, and adequate food/medicine.
Anything less and you will become a ward of the state.
Minimum amout of clothes? Seriously? I don't think she's mad at you for being a teen, I think she's mad at you for doing stupid things as a teen. You've obviously got some growing up to do.
