How long are bunnies pregnant?

Bunnies are pregnant for 5 months right? I’ve heard that and it makes more sense than 31 days but I need to know which one is right?

Answer #1

I would appreciate it if you weren’t rude to Amblessed..:) Whether he’s had rabbits that had babies or not, he knows what he’s talking about. The information about the gestation period of rabbits is usually from people who have owned rabbits in the past. Have a nice day.

Answer #2

im using this site for whats its ment for- people to get answers to their questions

Yet you throw the answers back in their face…mmm…didn’t know that is ALSO what this site is used for.

ps. amblessed was right…he KNOWS what he is talking about…

Answer #3

Ok, seriously…several people have given you the right answer and you continue to complain and be rude about it.

Never mind reporting me - I’m reporting YOU!

Answer #4

and your being extremely annoying and your not serving a purpose to this question so please stop leaving “answers” or im gonna have to report you. and I know what research is and I wasnt rude when I let amblessed know that I wanted people with personal experiance to comment. but right now your being very cantankerous and your not helping

Answer #5

“he doesnt know it for himself he is just taking other ppls experiance and repeating it “

Well, that’s called “research”, and research has been known to produce facts…if amblessed researched something, you can be damned sure he researched it fully and is giving you an appropriate answer.

You’re being extremely petty.

Answer #6

he doesnt know it for himself he is just taking other ppls experiance and repeating it so I would appreciate it if you actually answered the questions that I ask. not cause problems.

Answer #7

Well, let’s see…cats are pregnant for about 8 weeks, dogs are pregnant for just a little more than that…why on earth would something as small as a rabbit be pregnant for 5 months?

Steph and amblessed are both correct…

Answer #8

look I appreciate your help amblessed but I need advice from people who have experiance on the subject if I wanted stuff from different sites then id look at those places but thnks tho

Answer #9

I searched all over the internet - all of the answers are the same, and none say anything more that 35 days. This information is coming from experienced professionals: http://www.welshrabbitry.com/birth.html “After a doe is bred typically she will have her litter 30 days later. This can vary by a few days…”

Answer #10

she has a nesting box but who has ever heard that theyre pregnant for for 5 months is what I want to know

Answer #11

It’s usually around a month (28-32 days roughly), the rabbit needs her nesting box before the 26th day.

Answer #12

The average gestation period for rabbits is 31 days; however, it can vary from 29 to 35 days.
