How . I pierced my carlage witha sewing neddle . Waht can happen ?

I don’t know if its bad to do it with a sewing needle. but usually when people get their cartlage pierced it hurts a lot. like my friend got hers pierced and I touched it and she started crying cause it hurt so bad. I use to have mine pierced but it hurt way to bad I just let it close up.

Sigh I’m probally going to sound silly lol but oh well, do you mean you pierced the top of your ear? I got confused when you said cartliage haha.

Did you sterilise the needle first? I didn’t do it myself, I went to a shop, but anywho, mine hurt as well, I couldn’t sleep on my right side for around four months, and it took nearly a year to heal fully. It could be infected, but hopefully not. If I was you, I’d see how it gets in the next 2-3 days, if it seems to get worse then perhaps go to a professional piercer and see if they can tell you what to do to help.

yes I boiled the jewlery and the needle for like 40 mins before . it didnt hurt .I clean it well .

you can get a keliod. you never pierce with a safety pin/ sewing needle, or anyhing of that sort. piercing needles that the pros use are hallow, there for take that skin and everything out. with a pin or sewing needle your just puncturing the skin. keloids are caused by this. they are extremely painful. (I’ve never had one but I’ve known idiots who pierce themselves and get them) Piercing yourself is bad idea. if I was you id take it out right way and clean your ear and leave it alone. at home piercing are also VERY unsanitary even if u “boil your needle for like 40 mins before) I suggest you dont ever try to pierce yourself again. its really not worth what could happen with keloids and infections. if you want it done, get is done by a professional piercer. and NOT with a piercing gun either, those are horrible. its honestly worth paying money for it over what would happen if you dont and do it yourself.

I got my cartilage pierced at peircing pagoda with a gun and it did not hurt AT ALL. I loved it so much and it never hurt me but once I had to take it out cause I play bball and then a bubble formed over the hole so I had to let it cose ;(. so I am getting repierced soon, I LOVED IT get it done with gun not yourself you idiot. ;)

umm I don’t really think it’s bad.. I pierced my cartilage 3 diff times with a tack myself and they all hurt quite a bit but I kept cleaning them and now they all healed up nicely!!!
