How do you best profit from your domain names?

I have like 13 domain names sitting in paid parking. Yeah, the pay is like - zilch- :)))

I know a lot of ways to get traffic. Heres one of them. Lets say your selling widgets. I would buy a domain name like this www.cheapest-place-to-buy-widgets.com. uses the dashes between words Then on my parked page I would have lots of key words.(repeat your self alot ex. the best place to buy widgets is here we are also the cheapest place to buy widgets If your looking to buy widgets you can buy widgets here. Heres your home work I have 2 different businesses see if you can find my businesses on google. Heres the first key word phrase (cheapest place to buy domain names) or (cheaper than godaddy) this biz is only one month old.. 2nd biz key words (carpet cleaning orange county) ..(dryer vent cleaning orange county) this biz is 15 years old. When you find me copy what I’m doing. You will find that I have between 2 -8 spots on the first 2 pages of google. Please keep me updated on your progress. I’m trying a new parking service I will let you Know how it works. They let put in my own ads and I can put in my own key words. I get 100% of revenue I pay $ 2 bucks a month per site. Checks from google go directly to me Heres the site I’m testing with them Not up as of today.Just signed up yesterday whos-cheaper-than-godaddy.com

None of mine that are “parked” get meaningful traffic. My brother, however, gets some traffic to his domain that he bought for “gender” + “snowboards” which I was amazed that was available to buy.

With parked domains, it really depends on how much type in traffic there is for that domain name or keyword combination. If there is little to no type in traffic or keyword search volume, then you’ll never make much (if anything) from parking your domain.

Most of my profits on domain names comes from selling them on Ebay and domain name forums. Though it is difficult to sell them at too high a price, the time at which you get your returns is shorter.
