How does my birth control (the shot) gaining weight?
Ok so im on the shot the depo and omg im always deprressed. And like when I got on it in August I weighed 109 and now its february and now I weigh 128 omg I gained so much what should I do> Will exercising help???
im on my second shot, im gaining weight and ALWAYS hungry…and im feeling depressed a lot to…but I had a baby in aug so im not sure if its the shot making me sad or postpardum depression. exercising will probably tone you up. good luck
My wife use to get the shot but actually gained 25lbs on it. She then swithced to the Nuva Ring and did nothing else and ate the same foods and lost 20 lbs within a few months. The weight gain is caused by the influx of hormones into your body. I’d recommend going to a new form of birthcontrol and have noting but high remarks for the Nuva Ring.
I barley got on it yesterday and it was my third shot. People say that you get hungry more and I experienced it I am always hungry is that true?
I would recommend a different brand of birth control. Maybe something that wouldn’t cause these side effects.
excercising will help. what won’t help is worrying about this.
