How do you play football?

I understand pretty much all sports but for some reason don’t know what the heck football is for and what the objective of the game is. Seriously how do you play football???

I’m talking about football, and that IS how you play. Maybe you’re thinking of Soccer.

By the way, it is against the rules to tell someone to google their answer. People come on here to get real answers from real people, not be told to use search engine.

The objective is to get your ball into the endzone, like a goal.

Two teams start in the middle of the field, facing each other. The team with the ball has four attempts to progress 10 yards down the field towards the endzone, or else the other team gets the ball. When you score a touchdown (goal) your team gets 6 points and the opportunity to either try to make another touchdown with only one try from 10 yards away from the endzone for 2 extra points, or they can kick the ball between the fieldposts for 1 extra point.
