I always feel my legs are big and my friends say no but I want to be a little more skinny on my legs any ideas...
Make sure you are exercising, first things first.
Walking at a minimum, jogging with some short bursts of faster paced running is superb if you can do it.
Likewise, you need to do some exercises with no weights.
Perform free standing squats and a variety of lunging exercises to tone and shape your legs.
As long as you are not over-eating in your diet, you will lose some fat and get your legs in better shape.
Eat healthy and drink plenty of water.
