How do you layer your lasagne?
Ya heard me.. starting from the bottom to the top? Or top to bottom you tell me, I swing either way. haha.. Just curious as to what everyone else does when it comes to this fun and tasty dish.. thanks
I don’t think too many people have figured out how to layer it from the top down…I mean…that’s just magical…you have to start at the bottom and work your way up.
Having said that - I get what you mean and I’m just playing with you.
Bottom layer going up: sauce noodles sauce cottage cheese mozzarella cheese sauce noodles sauce mozzarella cheese parmesan cheese
We do: sauce noodles ricotta cheese sauce noodles ricotta cheese noodles sauce mozzarella cheese..
I think I have it wrong because that seems like a lot lol.. but we don’t like vegetables or meat in it… I like it plain. :D
no vegetables? no spices? vegetarian somewhat? hmmm I expected more ichiban.. whats in your sauce I wonder? haha p
How would you manage layering it from the top to the bottom? It’s a tad difficult stuffing limp noodles under a layer of sauce and cheeze.
I’d like to hear some more responses then perhaps ill give the best recipe ever. thanks for playing phrannie. thats not the response I would expect from and advisor. but whateves.
well what does your sauce consist of? im a foodie, these things matter lol.. okay for me.. sauce consists of veggie ground round, and a nice tomato based sauce with mushrooms, a tonne of mushrooms.. then noodles, i use the best.. then more sauce of course ricotta red peppers a bed of spinach more noodles ricotta again then another layer of noodles top consists of a bit more sauce, mozzarella and slices of zucchini i sometimes toss a bit of feta in there.. veggie ground round fools even the best meatatarians.. lol not many answers on this thread oh well..
Well patb, most of the seasoning there is in the sauce already…why make things complicated? :)
cause complicated is oh so delicious…
Just answering the question as it was asked….top to bottom? or bottom to top.
i like to start with a layer of pasta, then a layer of meat sauce, then a layer of spinach, then a layer of cheese sauce then more pasta, mince, spinach and cheese sauce, pasta then cheese sauce topped with grated cheese
