How do you know when someone crushing on you is going too far?

So I have this problem in my job where this co worker guy is completely smitten with me, and all he does is sing songs to me, wtches me all the time, calls my name a lot, tries to get my attention, asks me personal questions and my whereabouts,and is desperate for my num ( he said he would call me everyday) and recently told me he has deep feelings for me. K so the problem is that I told him I have a boyfriend, but he said if im not married maybe there someone else for me (he means himself),and also said that he feels like shooting himself because I dont want him. so the question is…could this get out of hand?..why is he doing this?…and if you think this is just a crush or hes obsessed or something else?…let me know tanks ;] ( oh and the creep is 24 years old, and supposedly never had a girlfriend cause he never felt what he feels for me)..

I think that crushes are fine and healthy, but that it’s not okay if he’s making you feel uncomfortable with his actions or is serious about hurting himself because he can’t have you. If he is, then this is already out of hand and something should be done about it before it gets worse.

Suggestions? Don’t give him your personal information, especially not your number. Let him know that this is making you uncomfortable, and that you’d appreciate it if he’d stop. Ignore his attempts. If he doesn’t stop, let someone know about it. Perhaps your boss or store manager? They would be able to try and put a stop to it at the work place.

If he gets worse after being talked to or you fear for your safety, talk to the police. I can understand that you don’t want to get him in trouble, but remember that your safety and comfort comes first.

singing, calling your name, watching you and etc… thats some stalker sh*t right there!!

if you feel uncomfatable you need to raise teh issue with your boss.. ‘personal’ questions would be under sexual harrasment..
