How do you get eyeshadow pigments to stay on?

I own a couple mac eyeshadow pigments and it’ll apply on very well at first and the color pops it looks brilliant but after a while, it just falls off. I’ve tried this with primer potion on the bottom. Colored eye shadow pencil for the base. And I’ve even tried wetting the pigment. None of this seems to work. Any tips???

You know MAC shadesticks, are their any other brand shadesticks besides that that applies well? I heard NYX is pretty good but it creases

Answer #2

The shadesticks are very good

if it’s becasue it’s too oily, like it kind of clumps together after a while, Use a little matt base concealer over your eyelids and lots of face powder over the lid to make it a mat base, then try applying

Try using shadestick…trust me that really helps…MAC especially has shadesticks in sharkskin, beige, and peeny and a few others. So depending on the colour your going for …you would use the colour shadestick to suit it…It really makes your colour pop and last longer.

sounds like you need a wet kind of base there eyeshadow creams, in colours there eyeshadow colours, but in a container like a mascara/ lipgloss would be and there creamy in consistancy you should put that on first and then put your eyeshadow powder over it that way itll stick there for the whole day! thats what I do
