How do you get rid of mild depression?
I have the symptoms of depression and I dont know how to get it out of my head I feel like im loosing my sanity and I cant stop crying(I mean tears just appear not even feeling them coming)
lol. yes. therapists get into the line of work to hear peoples problems day after day because they dont care. Not entirely sure why they get into that line of work. It isnt particularly lucrative. And you’re dealing with all sorts of troubled people. Must just enjoy hearing about all that pain I guess.
You’re describing depression as mild because you’re not dead? If you were dead, then you’d be dead. You wouldnt be suffering from any kind of depression.
I am sorry, but I really am not sure what to tell you. I mean I spent 8 years of hell hurting myself, cutting, purging, abusing alcohol, and all sorts of stuff believing I couldnt be happy. I lied to my therapist because I was forced to see her, and no one forces me to do anything. I went back to her after a suicide attempt didnt work out. It’s been 3 years, but I am only unhappy most of the time. It’s an improvement. I have no idea what exactly helped, but I do know that 8 years of trying to fix it on my own just made it worse, and after a few years of therapy, I’m doing better. perhaps it is a coincidence, but I prefer to believe that someone who refused to give up on me despite the lies and the anxiety I put her through helped just a little bit.
I have been depressed for a while. I think that you really cant get rid of depression but you can always try to make your life better. I have been depressed on and off for years.
Skateboarding got rid of mine. Just channel the pain into each push. It’s relaxing
u may think it works but my sister goes to a therapist and I hae cussed her out because she says im the problem I about choked her!therapist dont work out and I will never ever have one and besides I figured out what is causin my sadness and from there im just gonna try and forget thx everyone!!
I dont like therapists they are worse then doctors. they dont care and I dont mind disliking them what so ever mild as in yes I think about killing my self but I’ve tried and dont know why I didnt when I had the chance I dont think about hurting other people I only think about the sad stuff that is gonna happen in my life I cry on and off and about 20 times a week and when im not sad I cant feel happy im feel numb

me and moving vehicles are not a good match I have a scar on my hip to prove riding on a scooter didnt go well
I’m not a big believer in pills, especially for mild depression (of course I have to wonder what criteria you’re using to label it mild?). The answer to this question would depend on about 100 things. Thus it is hard to answer it without further information. Thinking happy thoughts has never cured anyone of depression (whatever that means). Thinking differently, however, is what does help depression. For that, think about talking to a counselor. Usually strict CBT focusing on a specific problem only takes about 12 sessions and most people are much better afterwards. There are places that will do it low cost if that is an issue.
I used to be the same. I often thought of suicide, but fortunately for me, I got some counselling.. soo. talk to someone about it, or just cry.
I use to be like that too just think happy thoughts and forget about whatever your depressed about.
for me, when I’m in a sad phase, I write, or channel my pain somewhere else.. it’s hard to keep it all inside of you, and when you have no one to talk to, there’s always the paper there waiting to get used up.. I hope this helps hun, good luck (:
I know. if you have to cyr then cry let it all out, don’t stop yourself from craying, craying helps get it all out. Also Try talking to somebody not feeling so alone helps get that depression lost. Play have fun whit all things. GOOD LUCK:)
