how do i create my own site because i want one so can someone please help me and do i have to pay anything to create my own site?

Web pages are made in HTML. That’s probably a good place to start.

http://www.w3.org/ is the world wide web standards organization, which can help you learn HTML, CSS, XHTML, and all the other acronyms you’ll need to know to understand how the web works.

After you know how to build a web page, then you’ll need a company to host it for you. The term for that is ‘web hosting’ which you can get for free, or for payment, depending on if you mind ads being shown on the website you build. Good luck.

Back before I knew html, I started out with a free geocities site (http://www.geocities.com). I really liked it because they had an automatic pagebuilder built in (you drag/drop pics you want, choose background colours, etc…). It was a really fun and easy (and free!) way to get started.

Once the advertisements and my desire for more complex sites got overboard, I finally took it upon myself to learn html. It was a great decision.

But everything comes in steps. Definitely try geocities or a similar free webservice to get started.
