How do I tell my parents that one of my good friends is expecting?

One of my two best friends is 6 weeks pregnant with her ex boyfriends baby. I’m pretty sure she’s giving it up for adoption. He parents know, but I don’t know how to tell my parents. She’s over here a lot, so they are going to notice.I’m worried that they’ll think since she’s sexually active , then am I must be, but I am not. And what if they don’t let her around me anymore? How do I break it to them?

Tell them. Let them know you are not sexualy active and don’t aprove of that kind of thing. They should trust you.

the most responsible thing you can do is tell them upfront, right away, the entire situation. tell them she’s expecting and tell them what she’s planning to do. then maybe it might be helpful to tell themyour situation…how you’re not sexually active and that you’re glad you’re not because you wouldn’t want to be in the same situation your friend is in.

also tell your parents that your friend is now going to need a lot of help and that you want to be a support to her by staying by her side as a friend through the hard times. afterall, if you were in that situation, wouldn’t they want your friends to stick by you?

be honest, and mature.
