I have had my period for 2 years, but I never told my mom. (which is the biggest mistake ever) and now I need to tell her because there are no more tampons in the house and I cant just like go to school without one. So now I don't know what to do. I know I should have told her the first time, but that didn't happen. so does anyone have any advice.?
I agree that you should tell your mom. Your mom is the closest woman figure you may have, she deserves to know. And for all you know, she won't be surprised. She might have known it, but never brought it up( a topic most parents tend to avoid). Like recently, my younger sister whos 11 just started hers, she was crying when she told our mom. It turned out that she was terrified, your mom will understand, she knows as others that as a women you have to deal with a cycle.
Why would you wait 2 years to tell your mom that!? I agree that you need to tell her.. I don't think she will be mad or anything. But she has the right to know. Calmly explain it to her and she'll undeerstand. :)
Just sit your mom down and calmly explain that you're on your period. I know it seems like a difficult and embarrassing thing to do, but your mom has been there before and I'm sure she can understand.
