How do I stop being lazy??

Supposedly I am really lazy. My mum is always giving out to me for it? I don’t think necessarily I am…I do things I want to do and I won’t do things I don’t want to do?? But many people have told me I am very lazy? The teachers at school don’t think this it’s just my family and friends that think this…anything I can do to show them I am in fact not lazy?

just do somethings you dont like to do. so you can get used to being more active . like getting up when you dont want to.

We don’t always have the luxury of doing ‘only what we want to’ - there’s this little thing called ‘obligations’ in Life - how can you show them ? ACT.

Well, I struggle with the same thing sometimes. Mostly during holidays or weekends when there´s nothing do to. And then a couple of days after I feel so stupid for not doing something before, like a schoolassigment, clean my room or something like that.

So what I do is; If I know that this weekend I don´t have nothing to do and I´m most likely just going to watch TV or sit in front of the computer then I would make a sort of “To-Do- List”

Here´s an example

  1. Clean Room
  2. Do science homework
  3. Take a jog with the dogs
  4. Go to the mall

I put the things that I need to get done first (1-3) and after that I put something I want to do (4).

It helps me, hopefully you to! :)

I have the same problem sometimes, you just have to try to motive yourself to do things, I know your less likely to try to do something if it isn’t what you want to do. if I feel im geting lazy and I’ve put off doing something I try to set myself limits like ill get off the couch and take out the trash after this commercial, or if I do the dishes then I can watch tv and just focus on the fact that you’ll get to watch tv or do something you like more than dishes lol kinda like reward yourself for good behavior haha I know it sounds weird but it works. hope this helps
