Have it’s scent glands been removed? If not, that’s an option, but they usually only ‘spray’ when they’re scared. However, some ferrets ‘leak’ and that’s an issue that needs to be dealt with by a vet.

If he has no scent glands, and still smells, he may just need a bath - once a month is more than enough.

you cant thats just how it smells its not a toy so you canyt just go around spraying it with perfume because thats cruel and it could harm it youll just have to deal with its smell you should have researched it before you got one because they naturally smell like a dirty sock
