How do I lose 30 or more pounds in a month?

OKay so I’m almost 18 and I weigh about 325. I’ve been struggling with my weight for 6 years or maybe since 6th or 7th grade when I started becoming so obessed and recently, I’ve noticed how much I hate being fat and that A LOT of people hate fat people like me, people at school call me psychotic and stuff like that, so I figure if I lose weight, I’ll be more happier and accepted and I can go to college knowing I’m perfectly skinny. Anyway, since its almost new years and of course my #1 resolution is of course to lose weight. I figure if I could lose 30 plus pounds a month, about 7.5 pounds a week, by graduation, I’ll be okay. I’ve tried every diet there is to do, even starving myself, but I don’t really know how to do that well, and I haven’t found one where I lose the weight I want to lose in a month, so I always stop and give up. Does anyone know of a good diet that I can go on where I can meet or surpass these goals? Also, I’m thinking about getting a gym memebership at this new place that recently opening up, so I could use a workout buddy that can act sorta like a personal trainer or something. Well I guess that’s it, Thank ya’ll!

I like the answers as above as well. Along with movement everday, daily affirmations (love yourself and give thanks daily to the powers that be whatever you may believe in), and eat organics. I was an avid reader of labels, my %&$ I would spend half a day in the store, well now I still read labels, but I read the ingredients labels. In my home my children(6 and 8) and myself eat primarily an organic diet. Read ALL labels, even the “healthy” foods have preservatives in them!! Rat small meals through out the day,a and most importanaly learn to listen to your body. I do have more info, I just realized I cannot refer you to any websites so I am not sure how to get you the info I want to share, as I lost 11 pounds and 9 1/2 inches in 7 days and the beauty of the program is I cannot stand the taste of foods that are not all natural!! Absolutely amazing! Good Luck and I hope to hear from you soon. SandiB

Ok.. well you must know that exercise is the key point losing weight =D I think that a work out buddy is a great idea because they can motivate you and keep you company at the same time!

And Firstly: Try not to lose weight too quickly because it can be damaging to your body.

Here’s a little food guideline I got off the net =D

When you want to lose weight in a month and you are selecting a low calorie diet plan, make sure you are consuming a balanced and complete diet.It is not recommended to avoid all types of fat,you can eat good fat, such as unsaturated fat, found mostly in vegetable oils, nuts, seeds.

  1. Aim to consume four to six small meals and snacks everyday.Keep the diet simple when you start,it will be easier to increase your standards if you have the aim to lose weight in a month.Start by simply just counting calories and avoiding saturated fats.

  2. Eat your foods slower. This will help your body to take a higher percent of nutrients, vitamins and minerals from the same food. This helpsyou if you want to lose weight in a month and also remain healthy.

  3. Make healthier food selections like fruits, vegetables, whole grain cereals, beans, low fat or nonfat dairy products, low fat meats, fish and skinless poultry.

  4. Avoid foods that are high in fat and calories.

  5. Avoid foods that are high in sugars such as pastries, candy bars, pies and candy.

  6. Use a variety of fruits and vegetables in your nutrition plan.Try to eat five total vegetable and fruit servings every day.

Well… good luck and I hope this helped =D

Peace..xX

Answer #4

well, myself, I’ve always been overweight…I’m not uncomfortable, but I’m concerned about my health.. when I was 16yrs old I weighed almost 400 pounds! now 18 I’m 210 pounds. the way I lost weight was eating smaller portions, not starving myself, because your body needs the calories of course. like you said, I got a membership at u.s fitness doing water and step aroebics, because their funner than just being on a tredmill, which keeps you more motivated :) lastly, you have to keep an open and positive mind, don’t beat urself up about it, and don’t do it because your worried about what others think of u, do it because you love urself. take care & good luck on your journey much love.
