how do I get rid of my gut?

I am 19 years old and 135 pounds im not over weight but I have a huge gut and I cant seem to get rid of it, any suggestions? I’ve been doing 100 crunches a day and I’m replacing all my drinks with water and eating less but its not really working.

Your eating less - that could be the problem. When dieting - eating less does not work. You have to eat right in order to lose the weight. I lost 40 pounds after having my son this way - you should try some of it.

-Make water your primary drink after breakfast (juice for breakfast) -No fried foods - only grilled or baked -Salads - no dressing - use vinegar instead -Do not eat or drink anything containing fructose, corn syrup, or things you can not pronounce. -Eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones -Do not eat after 7 pm, you dont’ have time to work those calories off. -No buttery flavorings, use hot sauce and spices instead -Write down everything you eat - you are less likley to over eat and think about what you are eating more when you see what all you have eaten that day. -Use vegetables to bulk up meals. You can eat twice as much pasta salad loaded with veggies like broccoli, carrots, and tomatoes for the same calories as a pasta salad sporting just mayonnaise. Same goes for stir-fries -Avoid white foods (carbs) -Walk for 45 minutes a day -Walk up and down stairs for 20 mintues a day -Eat slowly and calmly - chew each bite 20 times. Often we overeat because we dont give our food time to digest and tell us we are full because we eat to fast. -Eat only when your stomach is growling -Eat fruit instead of drinking fruit juice - there is more calories in fruit juice. -Order the smallest portion of everything -Eeat 90 percent of your meals at home to be less tempted and so you know what goes in it -Carry healthy snacks in your purse

crunches will only add to the fat. it is good to do when you have a flat stomach already. when you have a flat stomach, crunches will give you abs and will look nice in the summer time. but before we get there we must take it slow. Eat smaller portions, eating less or not eating at all won’t really help (it really only makes you sick). Eating smaller portions will help because getting the right amount and chewing it properly (35 times) won’t make you as hungry and will speed up the metabalism. Replace your sugar beverages with water. It quenches your thirst while storing less fat because it will clear the sugar inside of your body(but not over night). Exercising will help. Jumping Jacks will help a lot. It gets the cardio vascular muscle moving and active, so that when you run or jog or even walk the exercise you do then is more effective. Your heart is pumping the blood throgh your body and helping the fat move at a faster pace and will work it off quicker. Watch the food that you do eat. Chips and chocolate will only add to the belly, it won’t shrink it. So even baked chips can hurt you. Baked chips are better than the other kinds though, so if you want chips, go for the baked kind. Run at least 20 minutes a day. But get moving and be active for at least 60 minutes a day. Don’t slack off! Even if you don’t want to go outside, you don’t have to. Jog around your house, jog in place, jog in general. Remember the basic 5, and the food pyramid. Good Luck! And work hard! All power to ya! :)
