How do I even out my tan lines?

I play softball, and I get those hideous tan lines on my knees and torso. Only my knees, arms, shoulders, neck, and face are tan, while the rest of me is white as a ghost. Is there any way to even out these tan lines without actually going to a tanning salon? The only thing I can think of would be tanning lotion, but all I do is burn when I try that. Any other suggestions?

nuetrogena micromist tanning spray works like a charm, put it on your pale spots. or wear sunblock when you play so that you dont get color and then just tan your whole body later

You can find moisturises that build up a tan gradually so it wont ruin your skin while making it more tanned. Use johnsons brand. :)

The only way you can even out tan lines is to wait for them to fade entirely by dressing head to toe in clothing and making sure you stay out of the sun, or if you do go out, using a high SPF and waterproof sunblock.

OR you get tan the rest of the way, using sun tan lotion and visiting a salon, getting a spray on tan or sun bathing with no clothes.
