How do I eat right?

I wanted to know how all you healthy people get control of your eating. I want to know what works to control your cravings (especially sugar cravings!), how you stop yourself from bingeing, and mainly just how you are able to control your diet so that you maintain a healthy lifestyle. I am talking to vegans, vegetarians, normal eaters, everyone alike. I am curious as to how others maintain there diets so that they loose weight healthily. I need a little help because I have become somewhat obsessive with losing some extra weight, so much that I end up losing control and sabatoging my efforts to lose it. I just want to be able to gain control of my health so that I stop obsessing and can move on with my life in a comfortable and happy manner! thanks for those who respond!!!

Well, I don’t care what ANYONE says. Everyone has/will binge. But what you have to remember is, you eat food to satisfy your needs, not to enjoy it and eat it because it tastes good.

You will find the way to lose weight is to follow a healthy diet along with regular exercise and a good dose of willpower.

try to think of what we ate before sugar was a staple in our diet. Your body is probably actually craving something naturally sweet, like fruit. I eat a ton of grapes, melon, and berries. They make awesome snacks. If you want to be really healthy, triple the amount of produce you eat, and when you go for carbs, look for whole grains. Stick to low fat produce, like chicken and fish. eat 5 or 6 small meals throughout the day. I refuse to keep unhealthy foods in my house (with an exception to sodas -my weakness) It makes the temptation for sugar easier to curb because if I REALLY want it, I have to walk to the store and get it. Don’t be super stringent on yourself, because you won’t stick to it. Best of luck.
