How do I change my security on my Belking Wireless G Router?

I’ve had my Belkin Wireless G Router 5x for a few months and I just got AT&T internet so I installed the router. I put WPA security on it and it worked on my laptop last night but now it only says acquiring network address and never connects. Can I just uninstall the router from my computer then reinstall in back without complication from security? Thanks :)

Hi,

You should be able to start all over. The router should have a reset button. Push that, and then access your router’s admin settings (Usually an IP address like 192.168.1.1–default). The router will tell you how t oaccess the settings. Then change the WPA key so you can login again.

OR you can just set up a whole new network after resetting the router. Just do the whole network setup wizard on your computer (if you have Windows xp)
