How do I change black hair to a vivid reddish brown?

I always dye my hair brown black, and usually it would fade to lighter brown withing a month or two. I’ve been dying it brown black for about 2 years. About 2-3 weeks ago I dyed it blue black, but it’s just black. I want to go to a really vivid red brown. Like where the red is really noticeable but you can still tell it’s brown.

If I can have tips on what kind of hair dye to get ( I usually get revlon) or on how to do it. I don’t want to bleach my hair and then do it. If there is no other choice then I could do that. Usually when I try to dye my hair red or a little red it won’t because it’s to dark. I’ve had it red before but I want it Auburn, but a tiny bit darker. Seriously thank you so much if anyone can help me.

All you need to do is strip it once or twice, it will come out kind of orangy-red…and then apply the color you want. That should do the trick! :)
