I had the same problem. I have like overtly hair everything so I feel your pain girl! Just ask your mum straight out. Shaving isnt that big of a deal. Like I mean if you are in grade 2 then yeh thats kinda stupid, but your getting older, you kinda care about that sort of stuff now. So just ask your mum straight out, tell her it isnt that big of a deal and use all the excuses I have. If you have any other problems or anything fun mail me :)

Well if you are in seventh grade then you should just got up to your mum when people are NOT around and just go up to her and say “Heey muum can I please shave my legs I am now in seventh grade and I am mature enough. Please can I?” And I am sure she will say yes. But if shes says no then say that your mature and you should be able to and you want to wear shorts and not get embaressed.

Hope I helped :D

Answer #5

Just go up to her when you 2 are alone and say “mom, please let me shave my legs. its really embarrassing to have hairy legs and the other girls my age shave their legs.Im in junior high and I know im old enough and mature enough.” thats exactly what I said to my mom 2 years ago and the next day my legs wee nice and smooth

I asked this aswell a year ago. Personally I found it easier to ask for a shaver for my underarms by like telling her that my deodrant wasn’t working. She bought me one and now I just use it for both. I would suggest, if you’re going to buy one, get one that is quiet and doesn’t make as much noise, it feels a lot less self consious. Most parents don’t like to think that their children are growing up as fast as they actually are so you hust have to remind them. but I agree with badaboom asking is the easiest way. hope this helped x

Answer #7

Well what I did was I told my mom that I was mature and that I would like to shave my legs. I told her that I wanted to do it because I could handle the adult responsibility and she let me.. Im 17 now and I asked her in 6th grade.. so I know how you feel

Answer #8

this was me two years ago. it was hard, but when I was at the store with my mom once I just spit it out. the hardest part is the anticipation, it’s like a shot. waiting for it is the worst, but actually getting the shot is over really quickly and it’s not that bad. just tell her. sorry there’s no magic easy way to ask :( good luck!
