How do I ask a tattoo artist for an apprenticeship?

I got multiple questions..I am 15, can I even ask for one? How do I ask? What do I do?

Well first of all you have to be 18 in most cases, sometimes 16. And unless you are friends with an artist you have to pay them to learn the trade. You also have to have a huge portfolio of drawings of all differant kinds. It is not easy to get into. And being a tattoo artist is not the same thing as drawing a picture. There is way more to it. If you are serious about it, start making friends in the industry. That’s the only way you will get “in”

u talk to them and ask if its at all possible if you hang out there, and maby he can show you a thing or two sometime.
