I'm in the spanish club at school and we need to raise enough money to go to like New York for a day and a night and see a play or something. Any ideas besides the typical car wash, bake sale, etc.
Oh, and I have the idea of ordering those rubber wristbands to have my school's name on it and in the school colors and sell them. What would be a reasonable price so that we dont end up breaking even because of how much we spend to have them made? $2?

The wristbands sounds like the way to go, but I think you should do a bake sale/car wash too. I know that an organization sold them those bracelets for $5, so it must cost less than that to make them. Remember not to order too many because you don't want to end up under budget. You should make flyers that say "We'll rak your yard, so our Spanish Class can go on a trip to New York! It's only $___ and we work hard!" Don't forget to leave your name and number and stick them on poles, in mailboxes and corkboards at local stores like Hyvee, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. Make the print big so old people can read it! They are the ones who really need the job done!
