How can I reduce the look of my stretch marks before summer?

I have really bad stretch marks on my inner thighs and around my hips.My mom says they’re not that bad,but to a teenage girl they are! They really embarass me when I wear shorts or swimsuits and they have been there for a while,I dont know how I got them, sometimes they’re noticeable and sometimes they’re not but all in all they embarass me.Does anyone know a way to reduce the look or get rid of them before summer? Thanks!

Well, there’s a lotion out there called “Cocoa Butter.” It’s commonly used by pregnant/previously pregnant woman with stretch marks. It’s said to reduce the sight of them. Find it at a local baby-related store of some kind (Babies are Us, maybe?) most commonly. Probably, also, able to find it in most any lotion aisle. Last I remember, it was in a while bottle with a brown label.

The stretch marks are usually caused be weight gain/loss. You may have gained fat in your thighs at one point, but worked it back off (whether it turned to muscle or you just lost it). Skin stretches, but as you can see, it doesn’t like to go back like a slinky.

Check out the lotion. That’s the only suggestion I’ve got. There are many products out there that claim “Helps reduce stretch marks” or “Eliminates stretch marks,” but they never go away, to be completely honest. All you can do is let them fade away with the use of some supplemental product of some kind. I don’t know how long it’ll take to work, but I have heard many positive things about. Just apply some daily and hope for the best. :)

You cannot really get rid of stretchmarks and trying to reduce the look of them is probably going to cause you to spend a lot of money on preoducts that don’t really work. Just to let you know, a lot of teenagers have stretchmarks. You are not alone. Sorry, I couldn’t really answer your question.

Try Palmer’s Cocoa Butter for stretch marks. Use the one that pregnant women use, it has a picture of pregnant woman. It helps a lot in the prevention. It will also help soften and diminish the ones you have already.

You can also tan yourself when summer is close to arrive. Just don’t forget that tanning is not the healthiest approach. Do it not but not to the extreme of causing permanent damage. Good luck!

There are a lot of creams on the market that supposedly reduce the appearance of them. Also, tanning seems to work good too.

They say you can never get rid of them and stretch marks seem to be a woman’s lot in life. I have a stick thin friend who thought she was all special since she didnt get them with her first pregnancy. Yeah…then came baby two and three and now…she knows what stretch marks are all about! LOL!

Anyway, put the cream on them, safetly tan a little..and then forget them and just have fun with your life!
